WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO
The idea for Dollar Donations came to me after my sister was diagnosed with type one diabetes. I wanted to help fund research for a cure, but I didn’t have enough money.
High donation minimums create an unnecessary hurdle for those wanting to donate. I wanted to change that by empowering lots of other young people or those who don’t have a lot to donate to give $1 or more to help fund a cure. I quickly realized I could do micro-donation fundraising for other nonprofits, uniting our small-dollar donations to make big change for many other causes.
Together we can help change the world. That’s what Dollar Donations is doing.
