Description
Indigenous communities have been hit disproportionately hard by the pandemic both in terms of health and economy.
First Nations Development Institute’s COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund helps Native communities respond and recover from the effects of COVID-19 by delivering direct-relief grants, as well as donations of crucial clean water, food and PPE.
Native communities (both urban and rural) are highly susceptible to bad or fatal effects of COVID-19 due to the high incidence of poor pre-existing conditions, lack of clean water and sanitary conditions, food shortages, lack of healthcare, and overcrowding that prevents social distancing.
Please help Native communities during this unprecedented crisis.
Funds raised for First Nations’ COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund go directly to support Native organizations on the front lines of COVID-19. First Nations Development Institute is the most highly rated American Indian nonprofit in the nation.
